On August 16, 2024, the Maldives government and Three Sun Century held a contract ceremony for the construction of engineering ships in the capital Male. The two sides reached a consensus on cooperation in the construction of engineering ships.

    Under the cooperation agreement, Sanyang Century will provide the Maldives with advanced and reliable engineering ship construction services, including but not limited to the following:

1. Design, build and deliver engineering ships that meet international standards;

2, provide engineering ship operation and maintenance services;

3. Train local Maldivian technicians to improve their engineering ship construction and operation capabilities;

    In the future, Maldives and Sanyang Century will continue to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the smooth implementation of the engineering ship construction project. The two sides will take this cooperation as an opportunity to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of infrastructure construction.
