The world's first river-sea direct 14,000 cubic meter LNG refueling carrier is docked
Independently developed, designed and built by Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., LTD., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, China's landmark project of "gasification of the Yangtze River" - the world's first and China's first river-sea direct 14,000 cubic meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) refueling carrier successfully dedocked, which will mean that it has fully entered the new stage of dock mooring test and sea trial. It is scheduled for completion and delivery in August this year.
The ship is tailor-made by Anhui Changjiang Liquefied Natural Gas Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Hudongzhong Huawei Huaihe Energy Holding Group, which can realize the dual functions of Jianghai direct one-stop LNG refueling and transportation, and is equipped with the B-type tank LNG enclosure system independently developed by the company and authorized by the national patent. This is the first time that the system has achieved the first set of engineering applications on domestic LNG transport ships, marking a major breakthrough in the B-type tank LNG containment system developed by China and with fully independent intellectual property rights, and providing another "Chinese solution" for the construction technology of key core equipment for LNG carriers in the world.
The ship has a total length of 130 meters, a width of 23.6 meters and a depth of 15 meters, and is classified into China Classification Society (CCS). The ship adopts a unique shallow draft design, which not only meets the design requirements of the ocean unlimited navigation area, but also realizes the seaworthiness under the extreme low water level of the Yangtze River channel, so that the ship is suitable for the unlimited navigation area, and can pass the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge throughout the year to achieve direct and one-stop LNG refueling transportation from the river to the sea, which is called "Yangtze River customized" LNG refueling carrier.
It is particularly worth mentioning that, as the demonstration equipment of the "gasification of the Yangtze River" strategy and the "double carbon" target and the "demonstration project of domestic LNG industry chain equipment", Hudong Zhonghua has taken on the responsibility of "chain length" and cooperated with dozens of domestic enterprises to carry out intelligent research. Promote the domestic independent research and development, the national patent of the B type liquid cargo enclosure system, high and low load compressor and a series of domestic equipment shipment application.
The dual-fuel power full rotary propulsion system is used to achieve flexible manipulation of narrow inland waterways, and is equipped with an enhanced intelligent integrated automation system of "intelligent platform + intelligent navigation + intelligent energy efficiency", and the localization rate of key equipment will be more than 80% after completion.
The Yangtze River is the main artery of China's east-west water transport, with an annual water transport capacity of more than 3 billion tons, accounting for more than 60% of the country's total inland waterway shipping. For a long time, the Yangtze River water transport relies on diesel and heavy oil as the power fuel of the ship, the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly prominent.
This ship, known as the water mobile "refueling station" for LNG refueling service in the Yangtze River Channel, will open the channel of LNG from the sea to the river, accelerate the transformation of transport vessels in the Yangtze River basin to LNG power, and make the comprehensive pollution emission reduction of 70% in the Yangtze River Basin waterway transportation become a reality in the near future.
It is understood that at present, Hudong Zhonghua has the research and development, design and construction capabilities of 271,000 cubic meters of super large, 174,000 cubic meters of large, 80,000 cubic meters of river-sea combined transport and 14,000 cubic meters of river-sea direct transport and other LNG carriers, becoming the most complete and rich ship enterprises in the field of LNG carriers in the world.
