    The long-term measures are as follows: actively promote the research of demarcating the waterway waters of the river and sea bridge as "equivalent class A navigation area", and during this period, carry out the publicity and guidance of shipping enterprises through multiple channels, and regulate the passage of inland vessels through the waters of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge; Promote channel management departments to regularly dredge and maintain river and sea bridge channels; Work with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority to promote the construction of bridge anti-ship collision warning and arresting works, and make every effort to ensure the continuous stability of the safety situation in the waters under the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

    The provisional measures are as follows: Under the protection measures to prevent water accumulation in the cabin caused by sea waves or rain, cargo ships in the Class A navigation area of inland waterways can sail through the waterway of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge under the condition that the wind is below 6 (including 6), the maximum wave height is not more than 2 meters and the visible distance is more than 1000 meters, and the speed shall not exceed 12 knots and not less than 5 knots. At the same time, except for the river-sea bridge channel and the necessary turning waters connected, the cargo ships in the Class A navigation area of the inland river shall not sail more than 5 kilometers from the land shore.
