The reporter learned from the Shandong Maritime Safety Administration on the 9th that China's first maritime fishing vessel recommended route was announced and implemented on the same day, located in the waters southeast of Shidao, Weihai, Shandong.

    The recommended route of the fishing vessel is 11 nautical miles long from east to west and 6 nautical miles wide from north to south, leaving a navigation channel for the fishing vessel in the densely navigable area of the sea, guiding the fishing vessel to pass through the densely navigable area southeast of Shidao in an orderly manner, so as to standardize the navigation order of the waters and prevent the collision of commercial fishing vessels.

    It is reported that Shidao fishing port is the largest fishing port in northern China, and there are many important fishing ground nearby. More than 20,000 fishing boats from various provinces and cities around the Bohai Sea have been operating in the waters of Shidao for a long time, and more than 300,000 fishing boats enter and leave the ports under the jurisdiction each year. At the same time, the waters connected to the Chengshan waters, the annual transit of commercial vessels about 120,000 times. The dense traffic flow of merchant ships and fishing boats in the southeast sea area of Shidao shows a cross-meeting situation, and collision accidents are easy to happen.

    On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the dangerous accidents of commercial fishing vessels in the waters for many years and the surrounding traffic flow data, Shandong Maritime Safety Administration and Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly studied and delimit the recommended route of fishing vessels, promoted the transformation of water traffic safety governance model to prevention in advance, and built a new pattern of "commercial and fishing co-governance".

    At the same time, the relevant units have also issued the "Navigation Guide for ships in the Southeast Navigable Dense Area of Shidao" to make guidance and safety warnings for ships sailing in the navigable dense area.
