Big boat carrying small boat: "Anemone No. 1" successfully loaded

On May 12, the first cylindrical "offshore oil and gas processing plant" in Asia, which was independently designed and built by China, "Haikui No. 1", left port in Qingdao, Shandong Province, and will be transported to the Liuhua oilfield in the Pearl River Estuary Basin by a "big boat on the back of a small boat", laying the foundation for the first deep-water oilfield secondary development project in China to be put into operation within the year.

CCTV reporter Zhang Congjing: This is Jiaozhou Bay, Qingdao. I am now at the site of the loading operation of "Haikui No. 1". Since 5:00 am began to leave the port, now "Haikui No. 1" has successfully boarded the "New Guanghua" semi-submersible ship. The loading alone took more than three hours, and we documented the whole process. Now you see the picture, is the most wonderful process of entering the ship, four tugs and four cross cables of semi-submersible ships, are from different directions to precisely control the "Anemone No. 1" of the huge body, slowly arrive at the predetermined position, the process is like "threading a needle". Moreover, the clearance error and positioning accuracy on both sides of the ship are required to be controlled within 50 mm, and it is very difficult to complete such high-precision operation on the choppy sea. It can be seen that at present, the semi-submersible ship is slowly floating, and after all the decks surface, it will also carry out follow-up operations such as loading and fixing, so as to ensure that it can be safe and stable even if it encounters large winds and waves during sea transportation.

After the shipment is completed, the "Sea Kui 1" will be shipped to the Liuhua oilfield in the Pearl River Estuary Basin for installation in the near future. The sailing distance is more than 1,200 nautical miles. After the installation, it will float on the sea in a water depth of 324 meters and can handle about 5,600 tons of crude oil every day.

Li Wenbo, towing Design Manager of Haikui No. 1, CNOOC: For the first time, we independently applied underwater positioning technology in the shipment of domestic Marine equipment, to ensure that the accurate shipment of "Haikui No. 1" was in place, and independently completed a series of work such as technical plan preparation, complex calculation and analysis, and construction command and management, helping China's large cylindrical floating production equipment towing technology realize the autonomy of the whole process.

Due to the large, overweight, and large wind surface of the cylindrical structure, it is easy to rotate, and loading is the key link in the transportation of "Haikui No. 1" with the greatest technical difficulty and the highest operational risk.

The main deck area of "Haikui No. 1" is equivalent to 13 standard basketball courts, the height is close to 30 floors, and the total weight is equivalent to 30,000 cars. Loading such a maritime giant onto the ship puts forward extremely demanding requirements for the program design, calculation and analysis, and field command.

Wang Jiqiang, installation project manager of "Haikui No. 1" of CNOOC: "Haikui No. 1" is heavy, the draft depth is close to the channel limit, and the sea state window to meet the operating conditions is only 3 days a month, and no mistakes are allowed. The loading process requires the close cooperation of six port tugs, "threading the needle" on the fast-flowing sea, the positioning accuracy is required to reach the millimeter level, and no collision is allowed in the process, and the technical difficulty is the most similar loading operation in the industry.

During the loading operation, the deck surface of the semi-submersible ship will be submerged to 25 meters, and after the completion of the position, the deck of the semi-submersible ship will slowly rise to the surface to lift the "Haikui No. 1". After the completion of the loading operation, the "Haikui 1" will be connected and fixed on the deck of the semi-submersible ship, and then transported to the Liuhua oil field group in the waters of the Pearl River Estuary in China.

Loading and transportation is an indispensable key link in the construction of offshore oil and gas fields. With the continuous development of offshore platforms into deep water and large scale, higher requirements are put forward for the technical capabilities of loading and transportation equipment. After the rapid development in recent years, the loading and transportation capacity of China's large offshore platforms has achieved an important breakthrough.

The "Haikui No. 1" shipment successfully applied underwater precise positioning technology for the first time in the domestic offshore platform shipment, and the positioning accuracy reached the world advanced level. The technical scheme, calculation analysis and operation control involved in the shipment were all completed by our country independently, creating a precedent for the independent implementation of the large cylindrical floating production equipment loading operation in the whole process in our country.

Liu Kejian, Senior Director of CNOOC Engineering Installation Branch: It has completed nearly 700 large and medium-sized offshore platform loading operations, with a total weight of more than 3 million tons, and has acquired key capabilities such as floating loading of 350,000 tons of floating production equipment and ocean transportation of 12,000 nautical miles. It has systematically mastered complete sets of loading and transportation technologies for multiple types of offshore platforms, such as traction loading, modular transport vehicle loading and floating support loading.

In recent years, China has built a number of large-scale transport vessels and equipment, such as Asia's largest offshore platform transport barge "Offshore Oil 229" and the world's second largest submarine "New Guanghua". With the successful implementation of super large ocean projects such as "Sea-based No. 1", "Sea-based No. 2" and "Deep-sea No. 1", China's shipping transportation technology has jumped to the world's advanced level.
