Gao Haiyun introduced that at present, China's port operation has maintained a good momentum, with the port cargo throughput of 11.51 billion tons and the port container throughput of 220 million TEUs from January to August this year, an increase of 3.7% and 8.2% respectively. In terms of transportation structure adjustment, China has vigorously promoted the "transit rail" and "transit water" of bulk cargo transport, and the continuous and rapid development of hot metal combined transport, from January to August this year, the national port container hot metal combined transport capacity of 7.78 million TEUs, an increase of 17.7%.

From January to September this year, the port of Shanghai completed 39.102 million TEUs of container throughput, an increase of 8%. The first phase of Luojing Container Port Area was officially opened, and one 100,000 ton berth and four 10,000 ton berths were built, with a designed annual throughput of 2.6 million TEUs; Shanghai port container water transfer ratio of 60.6%; The sea-rail combined transport completed 727,000 TEUs, an increase of 38.6%.
On the other hand, Shanghai airport accessibility continued to improve, and the aviation market accelerated recovery. From January to September this year, the flight takeoffs and landings, passenger throughput and cargo and mail throughput of Shanghai's two major airports were 602,000, 93.433 million and 3.072 million, respectively, up 17.8%, 33.5% and 12% year-on-year, all returning to the level of the same period in 2019.
