    Due to the storm, the sea traffic in the ports of Valencia and Sagunto, Spain's largest container ports, has been completely halted.

    It is understood that the Valencia region is struggling to cope with the storm, road traffic is currently closed, the railway is flooded, the port is also unable to operate. The Emergency Coordination Centre has issued a red alert for the coast of Valencia and its northern interior.

    Adif, the Spanish rail company, reported that trains between Tavernes de la Valldigna and Cullera had been disrupted.

    The incident also affected services at the Valencia suburban hub between northern Valencia and Xeraco, with alternative bus services running between Tavernes and Cullera.

    In terms of road traffic, the A-7 section was blocked in the Alzira area, and the A-3 section was also blocked through Chiva; Other closures include CV-541 between Alberic and Tous, CV-550 at Massalaves, and CV-557 from A-7 to Gavarda and Antella;

    In the Costera region, the section of CV-645 was cut off while passing through Xativa; In Vall d'Albaida, section CV-612 in Bellus and in Plana Alta, section CV-148 to CV-159 were cut off.

    As of 15:00 local time on October 30, the Spanish government confirmed that the death toll caused by this round of storm weather in Valencia Autonomous region of the country has risen to 70.

    Hapag-lloyd has issued a delay warning!

    Meanwhile, severe storms in the Valencia region caused severe disruption to shipping and logistics, prompting major shipping companies to issue warnings.

    Hapag-Lloyd, Germany's leading container shipping company, issued a notice saying: "Due to the recent heavy rainfall in south-eastern Spain, our transport plans are currently facing unavoidable disruption."

    "Extreme weather conditions have impacted road safety and temporarily reduced the transport routes available in the region."

    Hapag-lloyd said they are actively looking for alternative routes to mitigate the impact of these disruptions. At the same time, the shipping company added that there may continue to be some delays until the situation improves.
